A lot of people think that root canal treatment is painful and expensive, but this often isn’t the case at all. Come and talk to us if you’re experiencing pain, sensitivity to hot or cold, or swelling and soreness in your gums.

Dental implants replace one or more missing teeth, as a close substitute for how natural teeth look, feel and function. This procedure involves surgically placing a titanium screw into the jaw to support a ceramic crown tooth replacement.

At Central Leederville Dental we’re often able to complete both the surgery and production of your new tooth in-house.

Invisalign® orthodontics are clear aligners that are used to gently straighten crooked teeth. Gone are the days of unsightly metallic braces – nowadays Invisalign® orthodontics are virtually invisible. You can even remove them so you can eat, brush and floss as normal.

A 3D treatment plan and custom-made aligners are created just for you, with clear steps for you to follow. Many of our patients are simply chuffed with Invisalign®’s results. They’ll be your little secret!

A mouthguard protects your teeth from being damaged or knocked out while you’re playing sport. We can make a customised mouthguard for you in-house at Central Leederville Dental, in a range of colours.

A bite splint protects your teeth from grinding during sleep. Known as bruxism, many people don’t even know that they’re doing it. If you have jaw pain, aching teeth, sensitivity to hot and cold, chronic tension headaches, or fractured, chipped or loose teeth, come and talk to us.

Sleep dentistry involves the diagnosis of sleep-related issues like snoring and sleep apnoea. After a specialist has conducted a sleep study, we can create a device that opens the airways by holding the lower jaw in a forward position.

With a strong link between grinding, snoring and sleep apnoea, we also try to identify those at risk. We find it so rewarding to help transform someone’s quality of sleep and improve their overall wellbeing.

Tiny tots? Teenagers? We offer dental care for the whole family. In fact, we have little ones, big ones and grand ones coming to see us regularly!

Families and children of different ages are unique, so we adjust our approach depending on who we need to treat. We understand that youngsters can be a bit anxious at the dentist so Central Leederville Dental has a range of strategies to help ensure they’re comfortable.

For example, we have videos playing in all our surgery rooms and younger kids can enjoy our colouring-in books in reception if they’re waiting for you – their picture might even end up on our wall!
